The Glimmering Hollow waits where fireflies rest. Its light dims when every dream is safely home. You are so small here, like a dewdrop on a leaf.

Zuri fluttered her tiny wings. The night air was cool and thick with mist. Above her, the sky was a dark blanket, but below, the Glimmering Hollow glowed softly. She had never seen so many lights in one place. ZURI: "Baba Mosi, why do the lights dim sometimes?" BABA MOSI: "When every dream is home, child."

Zuri tilted her head. That didn’t make sense. Dreams didn’t have homes. Or did they? She flew closer to the hollow, where the air smelled like honey and warm earth. A small moth with silver wings rested on a blade of grass. TIKO: "You’re new here." ZURI: "I am Zuri. What is this place?" TIKO: "The Glimmering Hollow. It guides dreams home."
