High above the clouds, where stars are woven like threads, there is a place called Luminara. Here, sleep is made by hand, stitch by stitch, in soft golden light.
You are Veli, a tiny glowing alien with silver skin and wide, wondering eyes. You float down to Luminara on a whisper of stardust. The air smells like warm milk and honey. Below you, the Dreamweavers are busy at their looms, but one loom sits still. Its thread is unspun. VELI: "Why is that loom quiet?" No one answers. The golden light flickers.
You drift closer. The loom is cold. The thread lies coiled like a sleeping snake. You reach out a small hand. The thread stirs. It glows faintly, then dims. VELI: "The thread just needs breath."
