This is the Storygrove, where the air hums with soft lullabies and the ground is always warm, as if the earth itself is breathing. You are Tansy, a tiny green sprout just pushing through the soil, ready to listen.
The first thing Tansy noticed was the light. It wasn’t bright like the sun, but golden and gentle, like honey dripping from a spoon. It pooled around the roots of the great Storytree, where Tansy had just unfurled her first two leaves. The air smelled of old paper and fresh rain.
TANSY: "What is that sound?" A soft rustling came from the bushes. Not the wind—something smaller, like pages turning.
