High above the sleeping world, where the air hums with starlight, there is a place called the Watching Hollow. It is a nest woven from moonbeams and silence, where the sky leans close to listen. Tonight, the stars are restless, and the wind carries secrets.
Sila perched on the edge of the Watching Hollow, her feathers ruffled by the night breeze. Below, the world stretched out like a dark quilt, stitched with flickering fireflies. But something was wrong. The stars above were blinking too fast, like fireflies themselves, their light stuttering instead of glowing steady.
SILA: "Qaniq, look. The stars are breathing too quick." QANIQ: "Hmm. Not their usual rhythm." SILA: "It’s like they’re nervous."
