Story Preview
The Night Train hums through starry valleys. Its windows glow like fireflies. You are Rishi, a pocket-sized phoenix curled in a velvet seat.
The train rocks side to side. Rishi’s feathers ruffle with each sway. He peeks out the window. Tiny lights blink far below. They look like fallen stars. RISHI: "Where are they going?"
The train answers with a soft chime. The lights below drift closer. Rishi leans forward. His breath warms the glass. A mist curls around the window. RISHI: "The glass is breathing."
