Story Preview

Close your eyes and picture a valley where fireflies carry lanterns for lost stars. The air smells like warm rice cakes and rain. This is Hoshi-machi, the town that guides sleepy travelers home before it rests.

You are Ren, a tiny moss fox with silver-tipped ears. Your paws sink into cool dewdrop puddles that glisten like moonlit lakes. The night is too quiet. No fireflies hum. No crickets sing. Only the wind whispers through bamboo leaves, shivering.

REN: "Something's wrong. The lanterns should be lit by now."
