Nivara and Dharu and the Lighthouse

Story Preview

The sky bridge glows soft at dusk. Tiny lights drift home like fireflies. You are one of them, a little cloud child, learning to float.

The air smells like rain that hasn’t fallen yet. Nivara drifts low over the bridge of stars. The stones hum beneath her, warm as a cat’s back. NIVARA: "Dharu, do you hear that?" DHARU: "The bridge is singing."

The song is quiet, like a lullaby for the sky. Nivara tilts her edges to listen. The light around her dims a little, then brightens again. NIVARA: "It’s waiting for something." DHARU: "Maybe for us to slow down."
