Deep in the hush of night, there is a valley. Its name is Mpango ya Kimya, the Place of Gentle Things. The air smells like old books and warm milk.
Niazi fluttered down into Mpango ya Kimya. Her wings made tiny sparks like firefly kisses. The path was made of moonbeams and moss.
NIAZI: "What is this place?" TEMBO: "The quietest things live here."
