The Sleepery is a round room with walls of warm honeycomb, each cell filled with golden light. The air smells like toasted oats and lavender, and the floor hums when you step on it. You are not a child here—you are Lumi, the mist who remembers every sunrise.
Lumi drifted through the arched doorway, your edges soft as morning fog. The honeycomb walls pulsed with slow, golden breaths. At the center of the room, a great iron kettle sat on a bed of embers, its spout trembling.
KETTLE: "Oh! Oh, you’ve come!" LUMI: "I heard you calling. The steam sounded lonely." KETTLE: "It’s not the steam. It’s me. I can’t settle. The recipe won’t start."
