Close your eyes and imagine a place where the night is not dark, but full of watching. A hill shaped like a sleeping cat, covered in silver grass that hums when the wind passes. At the very top, a circle of stones stands guard around a pool of still water. The water does not ripple. It only reflects—stars, dreams, the soft breathing of sleeping animals. This is Vela’s Watch, where the night is never lonely, and the sky leans down to listen. You are not here to play. You are here to watch. And tonight, something is waiting to be seen.

You are Jhin, a small lantern made of blue glass, shaped like a teardrop. Your flame is not fire, but a quiet glow that flickers when you think. You rest on a low stone, your light pooling around your feet. The night is full of sounds—crickets, the rustle of a hedgehog, the distant whisper of the silver grass. But then, a new sound. A soft ping, like a star dropping into the pool.

JHIN: "Did you hear that?" KAVI: "I hear everything, little light. But that—yes. That was new."
