Story Preview

The Valley of Whispering Lanterns never sleeps. Its glow guides lost dreams home. Each night, the keeper lights the path with fireflies that hum like lullabies. You are Jali, a small cloud-fox with fur like mist and eyes that catch the light. Tonight, something is wrong. The lanterns are dimming too soon.

Jali padded across the dewy bridge, paws silent on the woven reeds. The air smelled of honey and rain. Fireflies flickered above the river, but their light was weak, like candles about to go out. Jali tilted their head. The valley was never this quiet before sunset.

JALI: "Bibi? Are you there?"
