She climbed down her silk thread, one careful step at a time. The grass swayed. The air smelled like morning. The world was full of tiny lights. Can you guess where they’re going? The dewdrop rolled ahead, leaving a wet trail. Silk followed, her legs brushing the stems. The hum grew louder. The world was full of tiny lights. Then she saw it—a circle of dewdrops, all glowing. All humming the same soft song. Silk’s heart fluttered. She had never heard anything so quiet and bright. Between you and me, she whispered, I think this is the answer. The dewdrop rolled into the circle. Silk sat beside it. The sun warmed her back. The hum wrapped around them like a blanket. The world was full of tiny lights. The grass stood still. The dewdrops glowed. Silk closed her eyes. And Silk found her answer.
