In the bamboo forest where the moon shines bright, Lived brave little Mei with paper folding might. She loved making cranes that could dance and fly, But the festival needed more beneath the sky.

Her friend Hana painted with colors so true, While Kenji carved dragons from bamboo. Taro sang melodies sweet and clear, But Mei felt worried the day drawing near.

"My origami won't be enough alone," She sighed as she sat by the wishing stone. But Hana heard her and had a bright thought, "Together we'll make what cannot be bought!"
