One day, Leo the lizard said to the cloud— Watch your toes, it’s slippery! She took one step. Her foot went whoosh. She landed in a pile of fluffy cotton candy. Leo climbed up again. Watch your toes, it’s slippery! She took two steps. Her feet went splat. She landed in a bowl of warm pudding. Shhh... listen... can you hear the giggle? Leo climbed up one more time. Watch your toes, it’s slippery! She took three steps. Her whole body went slide. She landed in a nest of soft blankets. The cloud sighed. "I just wanted to play." Leo curled up. The blankets smelled like sunshine. The cloud stopped wiggling. The sky turned pink. Leo closed her eyes. The cloud tucked her in. The stars blinked once. And Leo found her answer.
