Your pillow grew wings, soft and warm. The wings carried Glow, the little lantern, up into the dark. Glow’s glass belly glowed yellow, like a tiny moon. His light made the stars giggle. A star drifted close. It sprinkled dust on Glow’s glass. Glow floated higher, higher. His light made the stars giggle. The star danced in a slow circle. Glow spun with it, round and round. His light blurred into gold. Shhh... listen... Can you hear the stars humming? His light made the stars giggle. Glow’s glow grew softer. The stars tucked him in. His light dimmed. The dream slowly... slowly... faded away.
