One night, she slowed down. Listen to the dark, listen. She tilted her head. Was that a sound? A faint, musical hum, like a bell ringing far away. She said it to herself the first time she heard it. Comet laughed. She had been trying to hear it alone, but the trail needed the Earth’s stillness to sing. So she settled into a slow, steady path, letting her glow brush against the night.
