They would dance between the planets, their glowing tendrils weaving through the dark like silver threads. But now Splash was [EMPHASIS]gone[/EMPHASIS], and the sky felt wider, colder, and so [EMPHASIS]empty[/EMPHASIS].
[CALM] Tonight, Bubble drifted near Saturn’s rings, watching the ice crystals sparkle. She traced the same path they’d taken together, her light flickering weakly. The silence was louder than the hum of the stars. [WHISPERING] 'I miss you,' she whispered, though no one was there to hear.
[MYSTERIOUS] Then, a soft glow caught her eye. A small comet, its tail fractured and dim, hovered nearby. It didn’t speak, but its light pulsed gently, like a heartbeat. [CURIOUS] Bubble tilted her head. The comet wasn’t Splash. It wasn’t her friend at all. But it was there.
